Home Stretch Photography
Home Stretch Photography is a brand created for senior athletes to capture their incredible action shots and the thrilling moments of live sports. I created a website where you choose the session package you want, which can allow you to get senior pictures taken during your sport.
While designing the logo, I drew inspiration from vintage baseball aesthetics. Creating a circular shape represented the baseball and I integrated the swash tail to maintain a nostalgic touch. I started to introduce stars to enhance the overall design. Finally, I meticulously experimented with various arrangements until discovering the most harmonious composition that resonated with the essence of the concept.
The Logo
When I first started designing the logo, I was trying to play off of the photography aspect using a camera. I created a runner icon to represent the sports aspect and tried different ways to incorporate it into the logo. I steered into a different direction and tried to create a logo with a swash tail that is typically used in baseball.
Poster
I wanted to create a lasting memento for athletes, capturing the essence of the sport they cherished. The composition comprises two elements: an action shot showcasing the athlete in the midst of their game and a cut-out picture of them striking a pose. Personalization includes the addition of the athlete's name and number, if applicable, while enveloping them in a haze of their school colors, creating a smoky backdrop. Additionally, the team's logo prominently features in the design. This poster was thoughtfully designed to allow complete customization, ensuring each athlete receives a unique and cherished keepsake tailored to their individual journey.
Team Schedule
In the pursuit of commemorating every team's journey, I created a seasonal image that showcases the team members and shows their entire schedule of games, meets, or matches. The schedule features a collective photograph of the team, along with their complete seasonal schedule, team name, and logo. The aim is to encapsulate the essence of their season and create a visually compelling representation that resonates with both the team and their supporters.
Banner Design
As a senior, particularly in High School and sometimes in College, it is customary to receive a personalized banner featuring yourself and your fellow senior teammates, proudly displayed during home games. This cherished banner serves as a timeless reminder of the dedication and effort invested in each season of play. To capture the essence of individuality, I conceptualized a customizable design, incorporating your school colors, logos, and a posed picture, infusing the banner with your unique personality. The backdrop has a textured surface, accentuated by striking geometric shapes, all harmoniously coming together to place the spotlight firmly on you, the celebrated athlete.
